Private Dock Access

All Belize LifeStyle Home Owners will have access to our Private Dock, located directly in front of our Habaneros Subdivision. 

As we begin the initial construction phase on our Residential Homes the dock will be upgraded to current Belize Marine Structures Standards.

Open-Deck Electric Catamarans

Several Electric Catamarans Charging Options Are Available:

1) Integrated Solar Panel Canopy Systems are optional equipment on all Belize LifeStyle Homes Electric Catamaran Models.
2) On-Board Generators are standard equipment on all BLH Electric Catamarans.
3) Small, Portable Inverter Generators are a viable substitute (or supplement) for the On-Board Generator. This solution will reduce gross unladen weight which will increase the traveling range of the Electric Catamaran.
3) BLH Electric Catamaran Battery-Swapping Solution will allow you to replace your “uncharged” batteries with “charged” batteries. The Electric Catamaran Battery Modules can be recharged at our recharging stations or at your optional Home Charging Station.
4) Our Future Renewable Energy Solutions will include Solar and Wind Charging Stations installed on the dock, which will supplement the Electric Catamaran Solar Canopies, On-Board Generators and Portable Inverter Generators.

Electric Catamarans are Less Expensive to Own, Operate and Maintain: 

Although the initial purchase price of an Electric Catamaran may be slightly higher than a comparable, traditional combustion engine Catamaran, the substantial savings in fuel costs, parts and maintenance will more than compensate for any initial cost disparity. This fact is especially true in Ambergris Caye, where the cost of marine fuel is very high and sometimes not always accessible. The added convenience of being able to charge your Electric Catamaran, anywhere, at anytime, gives you total freedom of not having to worry about trying to find a marine fueling station. We offer several viable recharging options that will provide your catamaran with substantial range and alleviate any concerns you may have about not having enough battery power available, to navigate to your intended destinations.

BLH Electric Catamarans will be offered to all our homeowners below the listed market price. Electric Catamarans are an environmentally responsible, cost effective way to explore The Blue Hole, The Great Barrier Reef, The Natural Marine Preserves and The Amazing Marine Wildlife of Belize. By choosing not to use a fossil fueled propulsion system you will be helping to preserve the Diverse Marine Eco-Systems of Belize. Our Belize LifeStyle Homes are sold with Private Dock Access which will allow you to moor your Electric Catamaran directly in front of your BeachFront Villa.

Electric Marine Propulsion Systems and Lithium Batteries have made Substantial Technological Advancements during the last several years and are now very viable solutions to effectively replace traditional marine combustion engine propulsion systems. The reduction in Solar Panel prices has also been instrumental in advancing Solar Electric Boats as a very viable alternative for all types of marine leisure crafts. These technological improvements in efficient electric motors and longer lasting lithium batteries are very evident with the current High-Performance, Tesla Model S and other 100% electric, luxury cars being sold by major automotive manufacturers.

Belize LifeStyle Homes will be offering Two Types of Electric Catamarans: Open-Deck and Traditional Hull Electric Catamarans. 

All BLH Electric Catamarans will have the option of On-Board Generators which can be used to quickly recharge the Electric Catamaran batteries and reduce any “range anxiety” concerns. All Electric Catamaran models will have the option of Integrated Solar Panel Canopy Systems.

The Advantages of Catamarans vs Monohull Boats:

  • Catamarans have a significantly shallower draft than Monohull Boats which will allow you the ability to navigate into shallow waters without the fear of running aground. Catamarans also allow for safer anchorages closer to shore. These are important features when exploring the many Islands of Belize. The shallow draft also allows for emergency repairs in shallow water. The Catamaran easily rests on her keels on the sand, making it a breeze to do the "annual haul out".

  • Catamarans are more stable than Monohull Boats and rely on beam and buoyancy for stability.
